Disciplines and Event Roles
We define work across various disciplines. Our disciplines consist of Design, Manufacturing, Electrical, Software, Scouting, Strategy, Media, and Business. These are groups of work that are related to each other and share similar skills. Each discipline is important to the success of the team.
On top of that the team has Event Roles. Event roles are specific roles at competition that members are selected to de. Our Event Roles consist of Drive Team, Strategy Specialist, Scouting Specialist, Field Side Media, and the Impact Presentation Team. These roles have specific selection criteria and eligibility requirements.

| Design | Models the robot in CAD (computer-aided design - software for building 3D models of parts), creates the and integrates the componenets of the robot, and prepares parts for manufacturing |
| Manufacturing | Takes the design and makes them in to real parts, assembles subassemblies, and ensures all parts work together |
| Electrical | Routes wire and cables throughout the robot, installs electical components, and terminates all wires |
| Software | Develops the code for the robot including autonomous paths, robot automation, and driver assists |
| Scouting | Tracks stats of teams we are competing with and against to provide data for the strategy team |
| Strategy | Works on season strategy that drives robot design, develops match strategy for each match at competion |
